About Arab Health

Arab Health is one of the fastest growing general medical expos in the world. The show targets the Middle East, Arabian Gulf States, India, Africa, and West Asia. Booth space has grown over 30% per year for the last six years and now occupies 65,000 m2 or 698,000 sq. ft. of net space (2,154 companies). Exhibit space will not grow next year because Arab Health books the total available space at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The 2008 attendance reached 49,202, a 14% increase over 2007 attendance of 43,000.

About MEDLAB

It is the largest IVD product show in the region.

As a distinct exhibition area, the MEDLAB is the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) area of Arab Health. Of the 49,000 visitors attending Arab Health, 23% (11,500+) have an interest in laboratory products. Of this group, 59% are business (hospital management and distributors) and 41% are medical staff.
Linked to MEDLAB is a three-day conference/workshop program in laboratory medicine. Registration was 1,668 clinical lab personnel. Of these, 40% were either MDs and/or PhDs; the balance were predominately lab technologists.

Exhibiting at MEDLAB were 115 IVD companies, an increase of 57% over the 73 IVD companies exhibiting in 2007.
