Introducing MEDLAB Singapore
Adapting the very successful model from MEDLAB Dubai organized by IIR Middle East, IIIR Asia will introduce MEDLAB Singapore which will be a component of Clinical Excellence Asia to be launched 5-7 October, 2010.
Clinical Excellence Asia includes seven conference stream and one exhibition area. The conference streams include cardiology, imaging, oncology, medical laboratory, obstetrics/gynecology, surgery and primary healthcare.
The organizers anticipate 2,300 visitors with 85% from Asean countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore and Viet Nam).
The region’s medical device growth rate (2007-08) was 7%-10% with Singapore leading the rest with a growth of 15%. Building on its momentum as a healthcare destination, Singapore will increase its healthcare spending from
approximately USD $1 billion to USD $2 billion by 2014.
Concurrent with the MEDLAB exposition will be the MEDLAB ASIA CONFERENCE.
